Image $1M Gift Will Support Arizona Student-Athletes Through Scholarships and Improved Facilities Aug. 13, 2021 Cody and Patsy Ritchie, dedicated University of Arizona supporters, have made a gift commitment of $1 million to Arizona Athletics toward the Wildcat Scholarship Fund and program enhancements for Arizona Football, as well as Arizona Men's and Women's Golf. Image Alumnus Endows $1M Chair in Materials Science and Engineering June 21, 2021 College of Engineering graduate Dylan Taylor is funding the Patrick R. Taylor Endowed Department Leadership Chair to honor his father, a renowned expert in metallurgy, materials science and thermal plasma technology. Dylan Taylor hopes the endowment will enable the university and college to recruit an internationally known chair with an extensive background in advanced materials. Read more
Image $2M Gift Advances UArizona Space Science Initiatives May 25, 2021 The gift will enable the purchase of an instrument the OSIRIS-REx analysis team will use to help find answers to fundamental questions about the origins of the solar system. The donor, who asked to remain anonymous, also made a second gift to give UArizona students and faculty more time to use the Giant Magellan Telescope when it's completed and begins operations.
