The Optimi Student Foundation Honorary is a volunteer service group that provides opportunities for esteemed members of the student body to participate in University of Arizona events with University officials and prominent alumni.

Established in 1982 by the UA Foundation, Optimi members provide support and volunteer staffing for various activities, including special events, cocktail parties, banquet luncheons and dinners, and other exclusive alumni events.

Eligibility

Optimi members must be well-rounded, articulate and capable of representing the Foundation and the University at official functions. To be considered for the selection process, students must:

  • Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA;
  • Commit to at least one year of service to the club;
  • Demonstrate prior involvement in community service.
