The University of Arizona Foundation was founded in 1958 as an Arizona nonprofit corporation. The UAF is exempt from Federal income tax as a section 501(c)3)organization. Learn more about our history.
Mission
The Foundation provides assistance to the University in three areas: fund-raising, asset management and facilitation.
Board of Trustees
A volunteer board of trustees governs the UA Foundation. Comprised of business and civic leaders, the Board is responsible for the Foundation’s policies, procedures and direction.
President’s Office
James H. Moore, Jr. is President and Chief Executive Officer of the UA Foundation and serves on the cabinet of UA President Ann Weaver Hart. The UAF has three main areas, Central Development, Financial Services and University Development.
